JOSE FRANCISCO TORRES

José Francisco Torres is an American soccer player who currently plays for Tigres UANL in Liga MX and the United States national team.  Torres was recruited by Pachuca while he was still attending high school in Texas, and he eventually broke into their starting lineup during the 2008 Apertura season as a central midfielder.  In November 2012, Torres transferred to Tigres UANL where has played ever since.  Torres made his United States debut against Cuba in 2008, and made his first start four days later against Trinidad and Tobago.  Torres has 26 total caps for the United States national team.
