Dario Brignole
Dario Brignole is the founder and CEO of Shine Entertainment Media LLC (also known as “Shine”), a South Florida-based sports and entertainment marketing company that is widely recognized for its focus on talent representation, event management, corporate consulting and new media for corporations that wish to reach specific marketing goals in the United States and Latin America.
Dario has worked in the sports and entertainment industry for over 26 years and in 2007 his vision of creating a highly proficient and innovative company became a reality. Under Dario’s leadership, Shine has become a powerful and dynamic business that focuses on delivering value and integrity to its clients. It is Dario’s attention to detail and respect for his perspective of clients that allows him to provide Shine with the strategies that offer clients the sincerest service. Shine has represented and currently represents some of the following athletes and events, Lionel Messi, Memo Ochoa, Gio & Jonathan dos Santos, Jorge Ramos, Jesus “Tecatito” Corona, Hector Herrera and Miguel Layun, to name a few. And events like Copa America, Gold Cup, and the FIFA World Cup Qualifying Games.
Prior to establishing Shine, Dario began his career working in the marketing departments of Nike and Head Rackets before continuing on to IMG where he spent his next 13 years. During his first few years at IMG, Dario gained the sponsorship rights to the Chilean and Paraguayan National Teams and opened an office in Santiago. There, he represented Marcelo Rios (who was the number “one ATP” player in the world) and sold sponsorship rights for three Copa America tournaments. Dario also marketed and sold sponsorship packages for the FIFA World Cup qualifying games in Latin America. Dario Brignole brought soccer superstar Lionel Messi to play his first game ever in Miami. Dario organized the event at Dolphin Stadium more than 50,000 attendees.
His incredible work ethic continued to propel his career within IMG. He became one of the first executives targeting American companies that could penetrate the Latin market through sports properties. In 2002, Brignole moved to IMG Headquarters in Cleveland, OH where he ran the commercial effort with the USSF and IMG Soccer and in 2003 he created the IMG Hispanic Division, representing more than 20 clients including the Latin Grammy Awards and Premio’s Fox. Dario’s cumulative knowledge in the sports global sponsorship division has propelled over $600 million in sales.
Dario graduated from the University of Buenos Aires with a B.A. in Marketing and Business Administration before continuing on to the University of Maryland where he received his Executive M.B.A. He also studied Economics at Stanford University.
